Premier League clubs watch Everton loanee Jarrad Branthwaite play for PSV Eindhoven v Ajax
Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is wanted by several Premier League clubs ahead of a summer transfer after being watched while playing for PSV Eindhoven this week, say 90min.
Branthwaite has spent the season on loan with PSV in the Eredivisie and started as they beat title rivals Ajax 3-0 on Sunday (23 April).
And according to a report by 90min, there were up to ten Premier League clubs present at the game with eyes on Branthwaite to add to interest from European clubs that has been registered too.

“Jarrad Branthwaite – who is on loan from Everton – was also watched closely by a number of Premier League clubs on Sunday,” they wrote.
“However, PSV have been extremely impressed by the defender and are keen to keep him on the books beyond the 2022/23 season.”
Quality
A year ago Branthwaite was turning out at Goodison Park for the blues in our battle against relegation, and Frank Lampard decided he wasn’t good enough.
He was loaned out to get more regular football, and it was a team competing for Champions League qualification and league titles that stepped up to take him.

Now a year on, he’s shining for them as a regular starter and is wanted by a host of teams that are rivalling Everton for our position in the league, as well as some top teams in Europe.
It’s a great boost to our academy that we can develop players such as this, but it says something about the way the club is being run right now that there isn’t a pathway for him to start right now.
The club need the money and may well be tempted to sell in the summer, but fans will be hoping that Sean Dyche can find a way to keep us in the division and then keep him at the club as a member of the first-team.
