Everton defender Yerry Mina not expected to play again this season with permanent exit on cards
Everton defender Yerry Mina is not expected to be brought into the first team picture by Sean Dyche as he’s seen zero minutes of game time.
According to the Liverpool Echo [26 April], he may not play again for the senior side with time running out to impress Dyche.
His deal is running out in the summer and the Toffees manager has been non-commital over whether or not he’ll be given an extension.

Let him go
Mina’s fitness has always been an issue for the Toffees and even when he’s fit, there’s clearly something he’s not doing in training to impress Dyche.
Usually, Michael Keane was always behind him in the pecking order but the former Manchester United defender continues to start over him.
It’s strange that Dyche has given so many players a chance to play and it’s only Mina and Ruben Vinagre who’ve not got their opportunities.

Vinagre has been injured so that one’s understandable but the Colombian is on the bench and Dyche hasn’t even considered getting him off the bench even when they’re protecting leads.
There does not seem to be a shortage of suitors for Mina and Everton may now regret that they’ve let him stay at the club for this long.
They could’ve got something for his services in January as he was anyway not going to play any more for the Toffees beyond the window.
