Dominic Calvert-Lewin ‘big problem’ baffles former Everton manager Sam Allardyce live on talkSPORT
Sam Allardyce has questioned the constant injury struggles that Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has suffered from in recent times.
The Toffees star has been limited to just 12 Premier League appearances this season due to various injury issues.
The 26-year-old made his first league appearance since early February in the goalless draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday (22 April).

“They can’t score at the front end,” Allardyce said on talkSPORT.
“Calvert-Lewin has had so many injuries yet again, I don’t know why, but it’s a big problem at the football club why he’s been injured as often and as long as he has.”

Ongoing frustration
Calvert-Lewin is clearly a very talented striker, with the Everton star closing in on 60 goals during his time at the club.
But that time has been massively disrupted by various injury issues, with knee and hamstring problems forcing him off the pitch this season.
Such issues have led to the striker being unable to show his worth to manager Sean Dyche, with Calvert-Lewin scoring just one goal from his 13 matches in all competitions this season.
It’s a very frustrating situation for the player, the manager and of course the fans, who know exactly how much the striker could have helped them this season.
Hopeful Calvert-Lewin can stay fully fit and get back to his best, with the Toffees in desperate need of his goals given their precarious position in the table.
The Merseyside outfit currently occupy 19th spot in the Premier League standings ahead of their meeting with Newcastle on Thursday (27 April).
