Chris Sutton makes Everton relegation prediction ahead of Leicester City, Bournemouth and Wolves games

Chris Sutton believes that Everton are a great club but will not be there in the Premier League next season despite Sean Dyche’s survival record.

He can only see them winning the game against Bournemouth and fancies them to lose an important six-pointer against Leicester City.

Wolves away is the only other match Sutton backs the Toffees to get something from, predicting only four points from their next 15.

He told the Daily Mail, “I like Sean Dyche, but I fear Everton will lose to Leicester, lose to Brighton, and lose to City. They will then be relying on those last two games of the season.

“I can see Everton ending with a win over Bournemouth but by then it will be too little, too late for this great club.”

Tough times

Everton were nowhere near good enough against Newcastle and that was a performance a Championship side puts in against one in the Premier League.

There’s so much wrong at the club and it’s hard to blame the manager as he’s trying his best but his hands are tied.

He took over also so late in the window so that the club had little to no time to back him in the transfer window and eventually paid the price for it.

However, they cannot afford to give up as the games against Leicester and Bournemouth are very winnable and they’ve got to back themselves to get six points.

That may just be enough to get them over the line as teams around them also have not been doing too well and can’t be relied on.

Relegation will be catastrophic financially for this club so they’ve got to do everything they can to ensure that it doesn’t happen.
