Jeff Stelling shares £500million Everton figures live on Sky Sports in relegation debate
Jeff Stelling has reeled off figures of £500million within seconds when talking about Everton in the relegation battle currently ongoing in the Premier League.
The Sky Sports host pointed to over £400million in losses over recent years alongside the risk of losing a further £100million with relegation to the Premier League.
Everton currently sit in the bottom three after defeat to Newcastle last time out with a huge six-pointer coming up against Leicester next.

Speaking live on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday [29 April, 12:25], Stelling kickstarted the relegation debate in the Premier League by looking at the Toffees.
“Let’s talk about Everton,” he said.
“164 years in the top flight. They’ve conceded seven in two home games, they’re building a new stadium. Relegation, we’re told could cost them £100million, they’re facing Premier League charges over profit and sustainability, and they’ve lost over £400million in the last five years.
“Do you fear for the long-term future of the club?”

Shocking.
Things could not get any worst under Farhad Moshiri, that is what we all thought.
At the minute, it looks as though that is happening every single day in the Premier League, so imagine what it would be like if that turns into the Championship.
With losses of over £400million over the last five years, that could turn into more than £500million overnight should the worst happen, so things are looking dark.
Moshiri has run this club into the ground with reckless spending and no real method behind his madness when it comes to the finances at Goodison Park.
So much is being made of never being relegated, but that means nothing right now with immediate changes rather than history needed to make sure it remains that way.
Everton are turning into a laughing stock if they aren’t already one, and that is sad to see given what this club stands for on and off the pitch – it is not good enough.
