Sean Dyche could miss out on millions in the coming weeks with Everton should they end up dropping out of the Premier League and into the Championship.
News emerged over the weekend from The Telegraph that there could be a bonus payment of £3.5million for the boss if he manages to escape the dreaded drop.
On top of that, there is also uncertainty surrounding whether or not he faces a wage cut alongside some of the summer signings at Goodison Park.
Everton travel to Leicester on Monday 1 May, and they know that if they don’t pick up three points, it could be a long end to this current season.
A point wouldn’t be the worst result, but at least two wins will be needed in this last group of games, and Dyche will know that after a dreadful run recently.
This looked like a formality after the wins over Arsenal, Leeds and Brentford, but the truth is far from that with things going from bad to worst since.
