Darren Bent shares £40m Jordan Pickford transfer prediction, Everton ace urged to join Tottenham
Darren Bent has backed Tottenham to make a summer move for Everton ace Jordan Pickford, who he has valued at £40million.
The Toffees number one has an informal agreement to leave the club if they are relegated, with Tottenham frontrunners for his signature, according to Ben Jacobs.
Everton are in real danger of dropping down to the Championship as they sit 19th in the Premier League table with just four matches remaining.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Andy Goldstein included Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea among the clubs who could sign Pickford, with Bent noting: “I think Spurs for me is the one that probably makes more sense.”
And when asked by Goldstein how much Pickford would cost, Bent replied: “If they go down, £40million.”

Pickford likely to move on
As always, there looks certain to be plenty of relegated players staying in the Premier League for another year, with Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse the prime example as the Saints head for the Championship.
A number of Everton players will find themselves in a similar position if the Toffees are relegated this season, although the future of Pickford seems pretty much set in stone regardless of his club’s fate.
The goalkeeper is very likely to move on in the summer, with his next destination perhaps the only issue that is yet to be resolved.
He has enjoyed a fine individual campaign amid Everton’s struggles as a whole, and although many supporters would be gutted to see him leave, the majority should thank him for his services over the years and wish him all the best for the future.
Moreover, given the rise of Nick Pope and Aaron Ramsdale at Newcastle and Arsenal respectively, Pickford’s England career is also on the line, and he doesn’t have much hope of impressing Gareth Southgate in the Championship.
