Sky Sports expert makes bold prediction for Everton v Brighton Premier League clash
Sky Sports expert Lewis Jones has predicted Everton to draw 1-1 with Brighton in their Premier League clash on Monday (8 May).
The Toffees make the trip to the south coast without a win in any of their last seven matches.
Brighton meanwhile are on a two-game winning run, keeping clean sheets in both of those matches.

“There is an air of inconsistency regarding Brighton’s ability to find their way past a well-organised low block at home,” Jones wrote for Sky Sports.
“Fulham beat them 1-0, Nottingham Forest ground out a 0-0 while Crystal Palace and Bournemouth were both only seen off by a solitary goal. The likes of Karou Mitoma and Julio Enciso are frightening talents, but they do lack a bit of ruthlessness in front of goal.
“Everton’s aim will be to stay in the game for as long as possible and try to build some momentum from set pieces. That tactic is much easier with Dominic Calvert-Lewin leading the line. Score prediction: 1-1.”

Massive clash
It’s another huge game for Everton, who will probably take a point at this stage, never mind a much-needed victory.
They are really short of confidence due to the miserable run of form which has seen them drop into the relegation zone with just four matches remaining.
It’s a tense situation to be involved in, but Sean Dyche has plenty of experience in this area, with the manager hoping he can pull off a miracle in the coming weeks.
But Brighton are flying high under Roberto De Zerbi, with the Seagulls currently chasing a European spot. They will be chasing a third successive win after smashing Woves 6-0 and defeating Manchester United 1-0.
Dyche won’t be too focused on that run, however, with the Toffees boss only keen on getting the best out of his players.
The Merseyside outfit are rapidly running out of time to save their season, and they could be in for another damaging defeat on their travels on Monday.
