
Super Computer makes relegation prediction after Everton 5-1 win v Brighton
Everton have boosted their chances of Premier League survival chances by 41% after their scintillating 5-1 victory over Brighton on Monday (8 May), according to Five-Thirty-Eight and their Super Computer.
Sean Dyche’s side delivered a five-star performance for their travelling fans and claimed three points that saw them climb two points clear of the drop zone with just three games of their season remaining.
The online Super Computer has shared that Everton now stand a 22% chance of dropping into the Championship next season, a huge turnaround on the 63% that was predicted before the victory.

It has predicted that the Toffees will claim three points from their last three games of the season – Manchester City, Wolves and Bournemouth – ending on 35 points and two clear of the relegation zone.
Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton are set to end the campaign in the bottom three according to the Super Computer.

Everton quite simply out-played Brighton in every department of the pitch on Monday night and were thoroughly deserving of their comprehensive victory.
Although the match wasn’t without its moments of panic, with Jordan Pickford drawn into a number of superb saves, the Toffees were extremely dangerous on the counter-attack all game long.
This bodes well for the upcoming clash at Goodison Park against Manchester City and the relegation battle that awaits.
