Everton want to sign Che Adams as Southampton exit update shared
Everton want to sign Che Adams this summer if they remain in the Premier League, with the striker “set to leave” Southampton, according to talkSPORT.
The Saints are all but relegated to the Championship, with the club sitting eight points from safety with just three matches remaining.
And that looks certain to lead to plenty of players leaving at the end of the season, a situation which Everton are keen to capitalise on.

“Everton have strikers Michail Antonio and Che Adams in their sights if they can pull off Premier League survival,” according to talkSPORT “Boss Sean Dyche is in the market for a target man after seeing his side struggle for goals for much of the season.
“Scotland international Adams is among a host of Saints players set to leave after their relegation was all but confirmed following Monday’s defeat at drop rivals Nottingham Forest.”

Saints exodus incoming
As is always the case with relegated teams, a long list of players are certain to leave at the end of the season in a bid to stay in the top flight.
And that will definitely be the case at Southampton, with the likes of James Ward-Prowse and Romeo Lavia looking very likely of remaining in the division.
Striker Adams could find himself in a similar position, but his hopes of an immediate return to the Premier League hang in the balance given Everton’s current struggles.
The Toffees sit 17th in the table, two points away from the relegation zone, with their future in the competition very uncertain at this moment in time.
One thing that is certain is their need for goals, and although Adams hasn’t quite hit the standards he would have set himself for the season, he does know how to find the back of the net.
The 26-year-old would jump at the chance to prove his worth in the Premier League once more, and Everton could land him for a very small fee if the Saints do go down.
