Sean Dyche could sign exciting secret weapon in Raul Garcia as Everton transfer news emerge
Everton are battling to sign Real Betis striker Raul Garcia who is currently on loan at CD Mirandés, and Sean Dyche may have located an exciting secret attacking weapon for next season.
The 22-year-old hitman has enjoyed a stunning campaign, La Liga 2 during the 2022/23 season, bagging 19 goals and six assists from 36 appearances
And it’s believed Everton and Brighton who are both battling for his services are “convinced” he can perform in England should he make the move this summer (Estadio Deportivo, 7 May).

Estadio Deportivo report that there are four teams vying for the Spaniard’s signature after his stunning campaign and that the Betis will be willing to part with the youngster if they receive an £8.7million offer.
The 22-year-old is believed to want to return to the Benito Villamarín Stadium and fight for his place, however, the La Liga side are eager to consider an offer for the striker in order to comply with financial fair play.
Everton have desperately needed a goalscoring striker all season, having sold Richarlison to Tottenham for £60m last summer and boasted the joint-worst record in the division for goals scored before their 5-1 win over Brighton (8 May) on Monday took them two goals past Wolves on 32 goals scored this campaign.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s struggles for fitness for much of the campaign and Neal Maupay’s failure to set Goodison Park alight since his move from Brighton, the Blues will be prioritising a move for a quality number nine this summer.
Given Brighton’s penchant for securing deals for exciting hidden gems around Europe, the fact that the Seagulls are interested in Garcia should give the Toffees all the indication they need that the Spanish hitman could well turn out to be an intriguing secret weapon for Dyche.

26 goal contributions (19 goals and seven assists) in 36 outings for CD Mirandes is no mean feat and the 22-year-old also recorded a total of 91 shots since the start of the campaign, which is higher than any other member of his squad, as per FBRef – highlighting that he isn’t afraid to to shoot when given the opportunity, a trait shot-shy Everton have sorely missed out this season.
Certainly, signing a player who’s only managed 99 career appearances may well be considered a risk and prove that he’s an unproven commodity but how many have we seen in the Premier League who have gone on to emerge as future world-beaters?
These are the kind of signings Everton should be targeting providing their Premier League future, taking advantage of a whole different market to the one they have dramatically failed in for so long. And at £8.7m, Garcia certainly represents a potential bargain for Dyche.
