Everton transfer news as £35m move for Largie Ramazani dependent on Premier League status
Everton are interested in signing Almeria winger Largie Ramazani this summer, but any move is dependent on their Premier League status, according to Fichajes.net.
Spanish outlet AS reported on January 1 that the Blues were on their heels surrounding a potential transfer of the former Manchester United youngster to Goodison Park, with £35million needed to make it happen.
The 22-year-old has emerged as one of La Liga’s most exciting young wingers this season, registering three goals and an assist for Almeria who currently sit two points above the relegation zone with four games remaining.

According to Fichajes [15 May] Everton remain interested in the young forward but any move hinges on their top-flight status and also his termination clause of €40m (£35m) “presents a challenge” for the Toffees.
“Everton’s interest in Ramazani reflects the potential they see in the young winger. His return to England could be an opportunity to showcase his talents in a competitive league and play an important role in the Liverpool team.
“However, Ramazani’s future will depend on negotiations between the clubs and how the situation in the Premier League evolves,” the report reveals.
Sticking point
It’s clear, Everton are in desperate need of attacking options for next season.
Sean Dyche has been forced to rely on Dwight McNeil and Alex Iwobi along with Demarai Gray as his wide options since his appointment in January which has ultimately led to Everton recording one of the worst goalscoring records in the division.
Given Ramazani’s stunning potential, current flawless ability and unpredictability in the final third – something Everton have been missing this season – the 22-year-old certainly represents an ideal option to pursue.

However, £35m for an unproven talent will present a challenge for Everton. The club have been guilty of needlessly splashing the cash in the past and then later on struggling to sell players on when they’re not needed.
Given their difficult financial situation right now, and the cost of their new stadium, the Blues simply cannot afford to be spending loosely again, so they must be acquire targets with plenty of accuracy and caution.
Though, any move for potential targets will indeed be dependent on their Premier League status. How can the club move forward if they aren’t an English top-flight club come the end of the month? Incredibly difficult if those targets aren’t met.
