Michael Owen makes Everton and Leeds United Premier League prediction

Michael Owen predicts Everton to avoid relegation but sees Leeds United not playing Premier League football next season.

The former Liverpool striker believes that Leeds have the hardest fixtures among all battling relegation and that the Toffees have done enough to stay up.

He does, however, see them getting something from their next two games in the Premier League.

He told Premier League Productions [15/05, 22:19], “Leeds have the hardest fixtures arguably and the second lowest points from teams there. I see them going down. Everton will still get something so they should be fine.”

Need another win

Everton are just one point shy of the relegation zone and a win for Leeds or Leicester will see them leapfrog the Toffees.

While they would rather be 17th than 18th or 19th, Sean Dyche cannot take anything for granted and needs to keep his side focused.

They visit Molineux to take on Wolves over the weekend and that’s a game where they can back themselves to get three points from.

Wolves are already on the beach having secured their status in the Premier League for next season so this is the ideal time to play them.

They then host Bournemouth on the final day of the season and that’s another side that is not in a relegation fight anymore so should be relatively easier.

A recent Super Computer calculation has predicted them to stay in the Premier League and it’s now onto the players to go on and deliver.
