Dele Alli may never feature for Everton again after news emerges this week
Dele Alli’s days as an Everton player may be done after his surgery and lengthy rehabilitation process over the upcoming summer.
The former Tottenham Hotspur ace anyway did not perform as per expectations when he joined under Frank Lampard and was subsequently loaned out.
However, even at Besiktas, he managed to fall out with the hierarchy and his injury then ended his season, making him return to Everton.

Speaking exclusively with Goodison News about the 27-year-old, Dr Rajpal Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said, “There hasn’t been much information on Alli’s injury other than it’s related to the hip – which can be a number of things – and it required surgery.
“According to the player, he will miss the rest of the season. Recovery routine specifics will depend on the injury specifics but generally, it’s progressive strengthening and mobility building up to more dynamic movements.“
Alli already was someone who wasn’t offering much and rarely doing enough to make a first-team claim so there is very little reason to believe that he’s suddenly going to turn a new leaf.

Given how his career has transpired, Sean Dyche may also be reluctant to hand him a new deal or perhaps even include him in his plans for next season.
If there is a market for the Englishman, the manager would probably sanction his exit as he could rake in some money possibly and also not be on the club’s payroll anymore.
However, Besiktas does not seem to be the option as he was banished from the squad and has already fallen out with the club hierarchy there [Daily Mail – March 2023] so it remains to be seen where he does end up.
