Dan Plumley has insisted that Alisher Usmanov news emerging back into the media at Everton is just another dark cloud hanging over Goodison Park.
The Guardian has reported that the billionaire was banned from the United Kingdom for six months before the Toffees cut ties with his financial backing through MegaFon and USM.
The finance expert admitted that no one knows the ins and outs which makes it really tricky to assume what will happen, alongside the current Premier League investigation.
“I think that’s the way I would frame it [another dark cloud],” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“No one knows the ins and outs of it, so you don’t want to speculate too much on what is out there. It is certainly another factor that goes into the mix at Everton at the minute and the whole situation around the finances, the takeover and the on-pitch position and again, it is something else that the media will talk about and will naturally look to push on.

“It’s just another thing into the mix that does not help the club, but we don’t know the details so it’s really tricky to say what is going on.”
This is just another dark cloud hanging over Everton.
It appears that when it rains, it pours though with numerous negative reports sharing the bad news with each passing week, something that is hard to watch.
