Lee Hendrie shares reaction to ‘Massive’ last-gasp Everton draw v Wolves live on Sky Sports
Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie heaped praise on Everton for managing to secure a “massive” result against Wolves at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday [20 May].
After falling behind to Hwang Hee-chan’s strike after 30 minutes, Toffees defender Yerry Mina popped up with a dramatic 99th-minute equaliser to send them home with a crucial point.
Speaking live on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday (20 May, 5:37pm), Hendrie praised the efforts of Sean Dyche’s men to claw themselves back after staring at another disappointing defeat.

He said: “I felt Everton were throwing bodies on the pitch to try and get back in the game.
“Wolves looked the more dangerous on the turnovers, on the counter-attacks but what a big big result for Everton.
“And a goal out of nothing just put back into the box, and an unlikely scorer in Yerry Mina, it just felt like a massive point for them, particularly going into that last game against Bournemouth, they had to get something today to give them that edge.”
Huge result
Despite largely being outplayed by their opponents and never really posing a threat in the final third, the score-line will have surely flattered the Everton players but Dyche won’t care one bit as they secured a huge draw.
When you’re down at the bottom fighting for your lives and with just a few points separating the teams down there, every point is crucial and credit must be given to the Everton players for their resilience and fight to claw out an unlikely result.

The onus now rests on Leeds United to win at West Ham United on Sunday, for which Dyche will be praying David Moyes’ men aren’t suffering from a European hangover to help them beat the West Yorkshire outfit.
Nonetheless, it is going down to the last day of the season and the showdown against Bournemouth at Goodison Park which is arguably the club’s biggest in their recent history. Huge.
