Everton boardroom to undergo changes quickly post MSP Sports Capital investment – Alan Myers

Everton are reportedly likely to undergo certain changes at the boardroom level once MSP Sports Capital complete their investment.

According to Sky Sports news editor Alan Myers, the changes are expected to happen quickly, although there is no guarantee on the timeline.

This comes after they have signed documents to exclusively be the firm that will be investing money into the club.

Myers wrote on Twitter, “I would guess there will be changes. I’d guess quickly.”

Changes needed

The Toffees would ideally be better without Farhad Moshiri at the helm but this investment is looking like he will retain some amount of control.

However, if MSP come with certain board seats and can force Moshiri’s hand then it should be a good thing as he needs to be in check.

Right now, he’s making decisions without anyone opposing him and he’s not even being accountable to fans and shareholders demanding answers from him.

The first priority is now to stay in the Premier League and they need to hope that other results go in their favour as well.

Beating Bournemouth at Goodison Park should not be too difficult but anything can happen in the Premier League and Everton must not take anything for granted.

Sean Dyche will surely be training his players twice as hard in the weeks building up to the game.
