Ex Liverpool striker Michael Owen predicts relegation candidates between Everton, Leeds United and Leicester City
Michael Owen backs Everton to stay up over Leeds United and Leicester City on the final day of the Premier League season.
The former Liverpool striker believes that the Toffees have an incredible fanbase and they will get behind their team for the decider v Bournemouth at the weekend.
Currently, Everton sit in 17th place and will be safe with a win on the final day and if results elsewhere go in their favour, even a draw or a loss can keep them up.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, he said [22/05, 22:41], “He’s done a very good job there and if you were to tell him that he would require a favourable result at home to keep Everton up when he got the job, he would’ve taken it. There’s going to be an unbelievable atmosphere there. If I was to pick one, I would be in Sean Dyche’s shoes.”
All in their hands
Everton have done decently under Dyche at home but it’s now on them to prove that they can get the job done on the biggest day of the season.
Form goes out of the window and it’s going to come down to which team shows up when the pressure is at a boiling point.
Not having Dominic Calvert-Lewin for this one is going to be a huge miss and it remains to be seen whether or not he’s available.

Nothing conclusive has emerged from the club about whether or not the Englishman will be available so they’re playing it by ear, as things stand.
Regardless, there are plenty of players in this team that can get goals and they cannot use that as an excuse for failing to win.
Bournemouth have nothing left to play for and it’s the perfect opportunity to face them on the final day and avoiding relegation will do wonders for the MSP Sports Capital investment.
