Bournemouth confirmed news v Everton: Six players may miss Premier League clash

Bournemouth will have four players certain to miss the clash against Everton on Sunday, 28 May, and three more may be doubts.

Gary O’Neil confirmed that Philip Billing will be back for the game, but expressed doubts over the availability of Hamed Traore and Joe Rothwell.

Antione Semenyo, Marcus Tavernier, Ryan Fredericks and Junior Stanislas will all be missing the game for the Cherries.

O’Neil said via the club’s official website on 26 May, “Philip Billing will be back involved.

“On Hamed Traorè, we’re hopeful he’ll be available but we’re not sure just yet.

“Joe Rothwell as well is in a similar position, we’re hoping he can play but it’s too early to confirm as we have another training session to go.”

Go all out

Everton may not even need a point if other results go in their favour but they have to be targeting a win from this one.

Their goal difference is inferior to Leicester which means that a draw will not be enough should the Foxes win their game against West Ham.

Losing Dominic Calvert-Lewin is going to be a huge blow as Sean Dyche has confirmed that the English striker will miss this game.

He also confirmed that Nathan Patterson will be ruled out, adding to the club’s defensive woes with a number of injuries.

The good thing for Everton is that Bournemouth have nothing left to play for this season and may be on the beach for the final game.

O’Neill may even use some of his fringe players for the game and that could play right into Dyche’s and the Toffees’ hands.
