Everton midfielder Tom Davies may be yet another injury casualty for the game against Bournemouth on Sunday, 28 May, claims Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert asserts that his situation is tricky when it comes to the rehabilitation phase as it’s a hamstring abrasion near the tendon.

The 24-year-old has been missing in action for the Toffees for over a month and while he’s not been ruled out yet, he remains a doubt.

Speaking exclusively with Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said, “It doesn’t seem too serious but he’s still a doubt for the final match as hamstring injuries near the tendon can be a trickier rehab.”

Davies played 21 minutes in the game Everton lost 3-1 against Fulham on 15 April at Goodison Park.

The Englishman has featured in 19 Premier League matches this season but has only made four starts for the Toffees.

The likes of Amadou Onana, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Idrissa Gueye and James Garner have been ahead of him in the pecking order.

Under Frank Lampard, Alex Iwobi played in midfield and was also starting regularly over Davies, who settled for the role of a squad player.
