Tim Sherwood blown away by Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure v Bournemouth
Tim Sherwood has been gushing over Abdoulaye Doucoure’s finish that saw Everton beat Bournemouth 1-0 to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The midfielder scored a worldie that saw the Toffees beat the Cherries to stay up.
Until then, relegation looked like a possibility with Leicester leading v West Ham.
Reacting to footage of the goal, Sherwood said on Premier League Productions (28/05, 21:23), “Five goals in his last 10. Outstanding return for a midfielder. He’s got great legs. He can absolutely move. For me, he’s kept them in the league.”
Top strike
One would have to wait months to see someone not renowned for their long rangers to score a goal like that.

It was struck so sweetly and there was no scope for luck as the ball went where he wanted to go.
He’s been in unreal form recently and has taken over the goal-scoring burden with Dominic Calvert-Lewin ruled out.
This has given Everton another chance to reset and they cannot get this wrong.
They have been making countless wrong decisions behind the scenes and it’s time somebody owns up and takes the responsibility.
Hopefully, the MSP Sports Capital investment reduces Farhad Moshiri’s involvement in the club as he’s not known to make smart decisions.
