Ian Wright fumes as boardroom news emerges at Everton
Ian Wright believes that Everton will not move forward unless and until there’s a significant change at the boardroom level.
News emerged after the win against Bournemouth that the fans were chanting that they wanted the board gone and Wright completely backs the idea.
He believes that there’s a huge rift between the club and the fans and that it’s gone to the point where it’s beyond repair.

Speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show (29 May, 14:42), “All that rubbish they’ve told to their fans. Irreparable damage they’ve done between the club and the fans that’s why fans were singing to sack the board.
“Are the board members going to go? If that doesn’t happen I don’t see how things will change.”
Spot on
Wright is absolutely spot on with this and he gets what Everton fans have been feeling for the past few years.
On the outside, it looks like there’s been plenty of money spent but only fans know that it’s gone in all the wrong places.
Moshiri has given responsibilities to all the wrong people and appointed the wrong names in most positions.

Getting the entire board out is not possible but with MSP Sports Capital’s investment, they may have some say in the matter.
They will want guaranteed boardroom seats and they can force Moshiri’s hand and make him do things differently.
Everton staying up in the Premier League makes things interesting for next season but this is the window the manager needs to be backed
