Abdoulaye Doucoure Everton career was ending under Frank Lampard
Abdoulaye Doucoure’s Everton career reportedly looked like it was going to end under Frank Lampard before Sean Dyche brought him back from the cold.
According to the Liverpool Echo [31 May], he had a falling out with the former manager who was most recently Chelsea’s interim boss.
However, Dyche got him back into the first-team picture and it was a decision that paid off towards the end of the season.

Good move
Lampard struggled to get the best out of most players in the Everton team and it’s a good thing that he was shown the door.
The surprise was how he wasn’t sacked earlier as the results had been poor for a number of weeks leading to the eventual parting of ways.
Had Dyche been brought in earlier, perhaps they would not have struggled in the manner that they did so it’s a lesson learnt by the Toffees board.

They’ve now got to back the manager unconditionally in the window as he managed to keep them up without making any signings.
The side looked down and out when he arrived and he instilled positivity in the side and that hope carried them over the line.
The players instantly bought into his philosophy and Goodison Park was harmonious once again behind the scenes.
