Sean Dyche will want Amadou Onana replacement as Everton may consider sale on one condition

Everton would reportedly consider the sale of midfielder Amadou Onana if a good bid arrives on the table for the 2022 summer signing.

According to the Athletic [08 June], Sean Dyche will want a replacement if the 21-year-old does leave, with the Toffees asking for a £60million fee.

It’s been reported that Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has emerged as a potential replacement for the Belgium international.

Testing their resolve

McTominay certainly cannot do what Onana does and the club should not be considering him as a replacement for the 21-year-old.

Onana has hit the ground running at Everton and has quickly become one of the key players at the club.

He was left on the bench on a few occasions by Dyche but that’s understandable given the number of games and the fact that the Englishman likes to adapt to the opposition.

It remains to be seen which clubs come in for him as Chelsea and Newcastle were linked even in the January transfer window.

If he does leave, Everton will have made a significant profit on him and if he stays, Dyche could possibly build his side around the Belgian.

He’s young, one of the best players and is only going to get better if players around him are deployed in a manner to bring the best out of him.
