Everton transfer news as talks ongoing with Leeds United ace Wilfried Gnonto
Everton are involved in ongoing talks with a summer move for Leeds United ace Wilfried Gnonto, according to FootballTransfers.
The publication noted well as targeting fellow Leeds winger Jack Harrison, the Toffees are keen on a move for the Italian youngster.
Both players were relegated from the Premier League with the West Yorkshire outfit on the final day of the season as the Toffees survived.

“Everton are looking to bolster their attacking options for next campaign with ongoing talks with Leeds over a possible move for Jack Harrison and Wilfried Gnonto, FootballTransfers has learned.
“The wingers were part of the club’s relegation last season and there have been discussions with both players over a summer move.
“We have been informed that Everton are pushing for Gnonto, though there needs to be a compromise reached over the price of the Italian.”

Exciting option
Gnonto had a mixed debut campaign in England, having joined the Whites from FC Zurich last summer.
He immediately hit the ground running and endeared himself to Leeds supporters with his trickery, pace and direct running, as well as chipping in with a few superb goals and assists.
But those displays tapered off as the season went on, although it wasn’t exactly Gnonto’s fault as he was forced to watch on from the bench across the last few months of the Premier League campaign.
It was certainly a strange situation, with Whites supporters left very confused as to why one of their most promising players was constantly warming the bench at Elland Road.
In the end, Leeds went down, but it shouldn’t mean the end of Gnonto’s Premier League career, with the winger now seemingly having the option of an immediate return to the top flight in the blue of Everton.
The Toffees desperately need attacking reinforcement, and the young Italian definitely represents an exciting option.
