Everton transfer news: Approach made to PSG for £4million sensation Ayman Kari
Everton have made an approach to sign PSG youngster Ayman Kari, according to RMC journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
The 18-year-old midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan from PSG at fellow Ligue 1 club Lorient.
Hawkins noted that Lorient are keen to hold onto the teenager for another campaign, but that Everton and Leicester have contacted PSG about a move for him this summer.

“Leicester and Everton are interested in Ayman Kari and have contacted Paris,” Hawkins wrote on Twitter.
“PSG already have an agreement with Lorient. Loan + call option of around €5million (£4million) + buyout clause for Parisians. Lorient has a head start but Ayman Kari has not made up his mind.”
Wanted man
Despite his age, Kari is a wanted man, with the Toffees and the Foxes eager to bring the 18-year-old to England this summer.
But that won’t be an easy task at all, with the midfielder also wanted by Lorient, while his short-term future could even lie in the French capital with PSG.
He obviously has a very bright future ahead of him, but is currently only being eased into professional football, with the youngster making just five Ligue 1 appearances last season.
Everton have a lot to deal with this summer, with manager Sean Dyche undoubtedly set to lose a handful of players who will be keen on playing at a higher level than the Toffees are currently operating at.
But those likely exits mean Dyche must also bring in new faces to Goodison Park in the coming months, and young star Kari may just be one of those faces.
In other Everton news, the Toffees have made an approach to sign a £21million centre-forward this summer.
