Chris Sutton tells Sean Dyche to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Everton this summer
Chris Sutton has told Everton manager Sean Dyche to “go and get” Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window.
The pundit believes the former Toffees forward is the right player to help the club get back on track when it comes to the final third next season.
The Belgian scored 87 goals from his 166 Everton matches across four seasons at Goodison Park, the first of which was on loan.

“Who would you go for hypothetically if you’re the Everton director of football?” Robbie Savage asked Sutton on 606 on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
Sutton replied: “Lukaku. Go and get Lukaku back. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Lukaku.”

Sensational return unlikely
Lukaku has not been at his best in recent times, with the 30-year-old bouncing back and forth between Chelsea and Inter Milan over the past couple of years.
But he absolutely endeared himself to the Everton faithful, with the Belgium international boasting a superb scoring record during his spell with the Toffees.
His future does remain up in the air, but one very unlikely destination for the talented striker is Goodison Park, with the fee required to bring him back to Merseyside perhaps the biggest stumbling block in any move.
His wages would also be exceptionally high, with Lukaku back in the blue of Everton a mere dream right now for many supporters.
One certainty though is that manager Dyche does need to strengthen in attack, among various other areas.
Goals have been hard to come by for the Toffees in recent seasons, and a new hitman is required in order for the club to avoid a third successive Premier League relegation battle.
