Everton board make smart move as new partnership signed off – Finance Expert
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Everton...
Dan Plumley has praised the smart move made by Everton to sign up with Ticketmaster as new partners for the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.
The Toffees have confirmed that the “global leader” has become the official ticketing innovation partner for the new stadium ahead of its completion.
Following in the footsteps of Spurs and Arsenal moving into their new stadiums, Plumley admitted it makes perfect business sense to enhance operations.

“If you’re looking at doing your homework and research, looking at the positives that Arsenal and Spurs have doing it that, it stands to reason,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“These new stadiums need good digital and IT infrastructure to make it as seamless for the fans as possible, so if you can make it a firm that does that, it’s a smart move.
“Everyone will point to the Arsenal and Spurs example as the ones to follow, so it stands to reason that this is behind that. Anything you can do to enhance your operations and from a ticketing view, that makes sense in business terms.”
