Everton are ready to sell Demarai Gray in the summer transfer window if the offer for the attacker is right, according to iNews.

The publication noted that the Merseyside outfit want “far in excess” of £10million to sell the 27-year-old forward.

The Merseyside outfit have fielded interest from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal and two Premier League clubs regarding Gray, iNews added.

“Everton have fielded interest from Saudi club Al-Hilal and two Premier League sides in forward Demarai Gray – but would want ‘far in excess’ of £10million to sell,” according to iNews.

“Everton do have the option of a fourth year but i understands they will consider selling Gray if the offer is right.

“The Jamaica international is the latest player to be targeted as part of an extensive recruitment drive for the Saudi Pro League and a lucrative offer may interest the player.”

Gray exit possible

Everton boss Sean Dyche has it all to do this summer, with the manager given the enviable task of creating a squad capable of performing consistently well in the Premier League.

That job is hard enough, but has been made even harder by the financial constraints that he is currently working under amid the club’s behind-the-scenes money issues.

The Toffees have been involved in a top flight relegation battle for the past two seasons, with Dyche stepping in to help save the club from the drop last time out.

That will have helped the manager’s stock in the boardroom at the Merseyside club, but that could rapidly drop should the Toffees get off to a bad start next time out.

It remains to be seen if Gray will be part of the club’s push to have a strong campaign next season, with the attacker potentially unsettled by talk of a switch to Saudi Arabia.

In other Everton news, Chris Sutton has told Toffees boss Dyche to “go and get” one international star this summer.
