Jordan Pickford sale for ‘really good fee’ not dead at Everton after Manchester United links – Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell doesn’t think “anything is off the table” in terms of Everton exits this summer and Jordan Pickford could still leave for a “really good fee”.
The England number one was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United as a replacement for David de Gea, but with Erik ten Hag now closing in on Andre Onana that risk looks to have subsided.
But ex-Goodison captain Campbell doesn’t think Everton are out of the woods yet and, much as he doesn’t want to see it happen, believes the 29-year-old could still be sacrificed this summer.

“I don’t think anything is off the table at Goodison Park,” the Sky Sports pundit exclusively told Goodison News.
“Jordan Pickford, England’s number one, could get a really good fee for him.
“I don’t think people at Everton want him to go but if Everton are in dire straights then unfortunately that might be something you have to look at.
“I don’t even want to think about it to be honest, but it might be something Everton have to look at.
“Might be.”

Assuming United close the deal with Inter for Cameroon international Onana they likely won’t be in the running for his England counterpart.
But any late hitch and that possibility would come roaring back into view, while any other club with money to spend that needs a goalkeeper this summer will view Everton as a target given the expectation the Toffees must sell to buy.
Tottenham were after him but have now signed Guglielmo Vicario to replace Hugo Lloris, so it may be that Chelsea are now the club to look out for after selling Edouard Mendy, with the Londoners also linked to a move in the winter.
In other Everton news, a club have decided they can’t afford to sign a Toffees talent but a transfer rival have had multiple meetings about a deal for him.
