Ryan Sessegnon messages Dele Alli amid Everton and Tottenham transfer speculation
Dele Alli has received a heartfelt message from former Tottenham teammate Ryan Sessegnon following the Everton midfielder’s emotional interview with Gary Neville.
Amid reports linking recently-injured Sessegnon to a move to Goodison Park and a potential reunion with Alli [Evening Standard], the 23-year-old showed his support to the fellow Englishman after his powerful interview with Neville on The Overlap
Alli has had a tough time on the football pitch since a few seasons before his departure from Tottenham, and his fresh interview with Neville reveals his personal struggles too. Many fellow professionals like Sessegnon have shown their support online.

In his comment, Sessegnon said: “Love you brother. Proud”.
Emotional message to potential teammate
Sessegnon had been linked with a move to Everton after his Tottenham career failed to take off as he intended amid hamstring issues.
These issues have again reared their ugly head and could have stopped Sessegnon’s potential move to Merseyside and a reunion with Dele Alli.
Alli’s recent interview with Neville goes into depth about the midfielder’s struggles with addiction, his experiences in rehab in America and his tough time at Tottenham under Jose Mourinho.
It has been met with an outpour of support from the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Maddison after the much-criticised Alli shared unknown elements of his personal life.
However, Alli’s Everton career seems to be in question after his poor loan spell at Besiktas and failure to find a return to form after his move. Many have questioned whether he could fit in a Sean Dyche side or whether he still possesses the ability to perform at the highest level.
Sessegnon’s move to Everton could be an exciting opportunity for him and for the club as well. With less competition at the full-back position at Everton, Sessegnon could have given regular first-team football a real go after only making 58 appearances across four seasons at Tottenham.
But this is looking less likely now and an Alli and Sessegnon’s link-ups may be confined only to social media.
