Everton to hold transfer talks with Manchester United over £10m Anthony Elanga
Everton are set to hold talks with Manchester United for winger Anthony Elanga after his £10m valuation emerged, according to the Daily Mail.
The Toffees were interested in a deal for the Sweden international in January but it was blocked by Erik Ten Hag as he was needed for cover at Old Trafford.
But after failing to score in 26 appearances last season he is now free to leave Old Trafford for around £10m, with Everton reigniting their interest in the 21-year-old.

“Everton will hold direct talks with Manchester United over a deal for £10million-rated Anthony Elanga, according to reports,” they wrote (13 July).
It was reported on Thursday that the club had already made a bid in the region of £15-20m by BBC Sport, but what claim was withdrawn after the Liverpool Echo challenged the accuracy of the report.

Immediately it looks as though Everton have got a big discount on the player and that should give even more reason to get this deal over the line.
Elanga has been largely underwhelming in front of goal and creatively for Manchester United since breaking into the first-team under Ralf Rangnick, however there is clearly plenty of potential there.

For us he is the perfect age at just 21 to come in and be coached, improved and moulded into a far better player but also it seems as though he is available for a very fair price.
He would add incredible speed and movement, as well as versatility to play across the front line and that is something that Dyche will enjoy.
With Demarai Gray’s exit looking more likely as the club are open to offers, Elanga would offer a similar stylistic option as a replacement on lower wages and for a small fee so it could be some great business from the club for once.
