Idrissa Gueye sends message to Arnaut Danjuma amid links to Everton
Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has sent a message to Arnaut Danjuma on Instagram amid reports linking the forward to the club this summer.
Fabrizio Romano reported on 14 July that Sean Dyche had met with the Villarreal winger as he looks to tempt him to sign for the Toffees despite previously snubbing the club in January.
The 26-year-old posted four pictures of himself training for the La Liga outfit and the words “focused, dedicated and ready” on Instagram on 15 July, with Gueye responding with two blue heart emojis.

Supportive
There isn’t anything to suggest the two players know each other personally having never played at the same club together.
This is potentially a supportive message from Gueye as one of the senior players at Everton that he will be welcomed into the club with open arms by his potential new teammates despite his previous decision to snub the club back in January in favour of a move to Tottenham.
It’s so far unknown whether Danjuma really is keen on a move to Merseyside, with a number of clubs reportedly interested in signing him this summer.

A report by Gazzetta dello Sport on 16 July suggests AC Milan may have moved ahead of the Toffees in their pursuit of the winger.
But if he does decide to make the move to Goodison Park, then it is good to see there is no ill feeling towards him amongst the Everton players following Gueye’s supportive message.
In other Everton news, a hefty price tag put one Premier League rival off signing a key Toffees player.
