Everton confusion remains despite positive noises – Finance Expert

Dan Plumley has insisted that there is so much confusion at boardroom level at Everton despite some positive noises starting to emerge.

With plenty of exits at Goodison Park this summer already, Bill Kenwright is still in place despite rumours that George Downing could replace him eventually.

The finance expert admitted that with the position of Farhad Moshiri, the new stadium and FFP concerns, everything is colliding at the same time.

“To try and cut through this noise, on an overall level there are positive noises but there is still confusion,” he exclusively told Goodison News.

“If there are whispers of this person being involved and potentially coming a future chairman, Kenwright stepping down or staying in, then you factor in the stadium, Moshiri’s position and the fact that Dyche wants to do business but there is the FFP situation and two seasons where it has been poor on the pitch.

Everything is just colliding at the minute, and that is in the background, there are positive noises, but a lot of confusion still underneath.”

This sums up Moshiri and his time at the club perfectly.

With the new Premier League season less than one month away, hopefully, everything can be cleared up before that first outing against Fulham.
