Everton make rich offer to seal Arnaut Danjuma transfer

Everton have made a “rich offer” to Villareal attacker Arnaut Danjuma as they look to seal another transfer, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper has reported in its print edition (18 July, pg 8) that the Toffees are facing serious competition from AC Milan for his signature, though.

It is stated that the San Siro club will speak to Danjuma today, and could even get a loan deal done before Friday, so the Toffees must move quickly.

They wrote about AC Milan at first: “Everything is played on the loan to collect the agreement with Villareal, who asks for around three million.

“And an ok from Danjuma, who has a rich offer from Everton.”

Everton

Rich.

Given the very well-known financial troubles at Goodison Park, you would expect that this is talking about personal terms with the Dutch flyer.

Big transfer fees are not to be expected this summer, so a loan with a potential option to buy may make more sense for Sean Dyche and the Toffees.

We have been here with Danjuma before though, and when it looked like he was signed, he changed his mind and went to Tottenham instead, in a shocking loan move.

With AC Milan also sniffing around and in talks, it may very well need to be a rich offer to make sure that another hijack doesn’t happen.

Danjuma needs to have that fire in his belly, and coming to Goodison Park to fight under Dyche and prove himself in the Premier League again after the joke of last season has to be on his mind.

With money supposedly on the table, decision time is coming very soon.
