Everton to pay entire Arnaut Danjuma salary to complete new transfer

Everton will pay Villarreal £3.6million to complete the loan signing of Arnaut Danjuma, which is set to be complete any minute, according to Mediterraneo.

The Spanish newspaper has reported in its print edition [23 July, pg 40 & 41] that the attacker is already on Merseyside ahead of the move being announced.

It is shared that Everton will pay Danjuma’s entire salary, which is currently sitting at just above £4.3million with the medical completed already.

Danjuma could be announced as early as Sunday [23 July], with Everton set to confirm their second signing of the summer after the arrival of Ashley Young.

Sean Dyche will want his business taken care of ahead of the new Premier League season kicking off against Fulham in around three weeks time.

Everton

Explosive.

Danjuma comes to Goodison Park with a real point to prove, not only to Everton fans but to the entire Premier League after his disappointing loan spell at Spurs.

The Dutchman made a last-minute U-turn from Merseyside in January, leaving fans fuming, but that has to be left in the past as he looks to become the main man here.

Whether this leads to a permanent transfer, that is in the future, but in the here and now, Danjuma offers something Everton currently doesn’t have.

That is explosive pace and skill in the final third, hopefully with some consistency that the likes of Demarai Gray do not deliver every single week.

At just above £82,000-a-week, Danjuma needs to make sure that the club get its money’s worth, and he will be backed to do just that as this signing gets everyone excited.

Bring it on.
