Sought-after Tom Cannon spotted back in Everton training as transfer news emerges
Tom Cannon was spotted back in Everton training after being out of action with a slight injury, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The young striker missed the pre-season friendly matches against Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers due to the issue.
He has now returned to training, but could be on the move this summer due to his “long list of suitors,” the newspaper added.

“Cannon missed that game – and the one against Wigan Athletic days before – due to a slight injury but was pictured back on the grass,” according to the Liverpool Echo.
“The starlet has a long list of suitors should Everton decide to make him available.”

Wanted man
Cannon is undoubtedly a wanted man, with several clubs across England undoubtedly keen on his loan signature this summer.
The 20-year-old impressed last season during a temporary spell at Preston North End, with a similar role on the cards for the striker next time out.
Given the club’s lack of attacking options, Everton manager Sean Dyche would be foolish to let go of the youngster at this moment in time, with the Merseyside club needing to make an addition of their own before saying farewell to Cannon for the upcoming campaign.
There was unsurprisingly plenty of speculation about his Everton future amid his absence for the recent pre-season friendly clashes, but that looks like it was nothing more than a slight knock, with the player now back on the training ground at Finch Farm.
Dyche has already moved on young players Lewis Warrington and Stanley Mills on loan moves this summer, with Cannon potentially next to go.
