Karl Robinson predicts Dele Alli to ‘go again’ at Everton after injury struggles
Karl Robinson has predicted Everton midfielder Dele Alli to “set himself” and “go again” at the Merseyside outfit.
Robinson managed Alli while the pair were at MK Dons in League One before the midfielder left to join Tottenham Hotspur.
Alli is back at Everton after spending last season on loan at Turkish club Besiktas, and his former boss believes his current hip injury has come at a good time.

“I think the place he’s in right now, he seems to be in a good place,” Robinson said live on talkSPORT.
“The fact that he’s injured might not be a bad thing, short term. I know he wants to play, but he’s still got that time to set himself, to get ready and go again.”

Hope for Alli
There has been plenty of talk regarding Alli’s future on the pitch, but it remains to be seen whether that will be at Everton or somewhere else.
He has certainly had his struggles in recent times, but Toffees fans are now desperate for the player to settle down and work hard behind the scenes to earn a place in Sean Dyche’s squad.
The Toffees need all the help they can get next season as they look to avoid a third successive Premier League relegation battle, and Alli would undoubtedly help them in their quest if he can return to his former self.
The midfielder was one of the brightest talents in world football during his early days at Tottenham, and there remains some hope that he can get back to his best in the near future.
It could all, however, rest on Toffees boss Dyche, who may choose to move the midfielder on this summer.
In other Everton news, one Toffees player is “pushing” for an exit as a Premier League rival haggles over his £10million transfer fee.
