Demarai Gray misses Everton training as personal terms agreed to quit Goodison Park – Fabrizio Romano
Demarai Gray has missed the past three days of Everton training after agreeing terms on a move away from Goodison Park, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Sky Sports Italy journalist tweeted on 3 August that the Jamaica international only wants to join Fulham despite there being interest from other Premier League clubs and across Europe.
He said the two Toffees and Fulham have failed to strike a deal yet for the 27-year-old, but that he has agreed terms with the Cottagers ahead of a potential move.
Not ideal
It’s not an ideal situation for anyone to have a player at the club that is so desperate to leave that he doesn’t even want to train with the rest of the squad anymore.
The best thing for Everton is to try and move him on as quickly as possible to ensure it doesn’t have an impact on any of his teammates with the start of the season just a week away.
It’s been reported that the Toffees are looking for a fee well beyond £10million for the Jamaican, so they will probably be keen to move him on if not only Fulham but any other club gets near to that valuation.

In terms of Gray himself, it’s not too surprising to hear he wants to leave after Sean Dyche has looked to draft other players in to replace him, but it’s not very professional to be missing training.
The club will be hoping for a swift resolution to the situation, so they can get some money in to sign other targets and strengthen the squad heading into the new campaign.
In other Everton news, a forward has asked the club to show a greater effort to sign him this summer.
