Alan Myers shares what he has heard about Youssef Chermiti Everton medical on Sky Sports News
Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers shared an update about when Youssef Chermiti might have his Everton medical as his move from Sporting CP draws closer.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on Saturday (5 August, 13:38), Myers said the 19-year-old forward could go through his checks and balances with the Toffees this weekend.
Everton have been closing in on the signing of Chermiti, who would become the third signing of the window for Everton after Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma.

“Obviously the big thing is transfer news that the fans are all waiting for, Youssef Chermiti is somebody who is hopefully going to join the club in the next couple of days,” Myers said live on Sky Sports News.
“There was talk of a medical being arranged for this weekend. I’ve not seen that yet but the talk is that it will happen.”
Get it done
Everton have searched throughout the summer for a new forward but thus far their quest has proved fruitless, with links to Moussa Dembele, El-Bilal Toure, and Viktor Gyokeres all failing to come to fruition.
The signing of Chermiti looks pretty certain to go through, though, and the Liverpool Echo mentioned (5 August) that he has not been training with his team-mates over the past few days – probably so that all parties can get the deal done without complications.

It is absolutely no secret that Everton need attacking reinforcements given they lacked bite in the final third so badly last season, a campaign in which they only just staved off the threat of relegation.
With Danjuma already in the door and Chermiti seemingly on the brink of joining, all of a sudden Sean Dyche has more attacking weapons to call upon in the upcoming Premier League season. Anyone who saw Everton last season knows it was much needed.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are sticking to their guns over the potential sale of Demarai Gray.
