Everton transfer news as Youssef Chermiti medical update emerges amid red tape issues
Sporting CP striker Youssef Chermiti is yet to complete his medical at Everton with red tape issues emerging, according to O Jogo.
The Portuguese newspaper wrote in its print edition on Thursday (10 August, Page 13) that he did not even fly out of Portugal on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old Portuguese forward is expected to do so in the coming hours with the possibility of an announcement being made on the 10th itself.

Get it done
Transfers are never straightforward with Everton and this one is the latest example of how hard they make getting deals over the line.
Chermiti’s apparently been having a medical or set to have one for the last four or five days and thus far, it’s not happened.
Hopefully, it is actually just the bureaucratic issues and not the fact that he’s had a change of heart or another club’s suddenly in his year.

The Toffees need maybe two strikers this summer and it seems like the 19-year-old is one of them with PSG’s Hugo Ekitike being another contender.
It remains to be seen if the club do end up making the announcement in the next 24 hours as that will be in time for the Premier League clash over the weekend.
The Toffees play host to Fulham on Saturday, 12 August, and Sean Dyche will want as many players as possible available to him.
In exclusive Everton news, the Toffees now have to pay £21.4m to land a Brazilian player ahead of next season.
