Sean Dyche namedrops Demarai Gray, Mason Holgate and Andre Gomes in Everton exit update
Sean Dyche name-dropped Demarai Gray, Mason Holgate and Andre Gomes when discussing potential Everton exits.
The trio are among five players the Merseyside club are prepared to sell this summer, according to the Daily Mail (4 August).
But the man in the Everton dugout has refused to be drawn into speculation regarding the futures of the Goodison Park trio.

“The players that are here are still here… that is the truth of it,” Dyche told reporters in his pre-match press conference, as per the official Everton YouTube channel.
“The ones I keep reading about, like Demarai, Mason, Andre Gomes, they are still here, they are absolutely part of the club… and if that changes, you will be the last to know.”

Uncertain futures
There has been plenty of exit talk regarding Toffees trio Gray, Holgate and Gomes this summer, but as Dyche pointed out, the three are all very much still Everton players.
They may not feature for the club in their Premier League opener against Fulham on Saturday (12 August), but for now they remain part of the Merseyside club, with the summer transfer window not closing until 1 September.
Everton need all the help they can get as they look to avoid a third successive Premier League relegation battle next season, but it doesn’t make much sense to involve players whose futures seemingly lie elsewhere.
They are unlikely to make the matchday squad against the Cottagers, but it will perhaps be after the match when Dyche finally has time to figure out exit deals for the trio.
But the club may just get good money for the players, meaning their exits should be forced through as soon as possible in order to bring in funds for new signings.
In other Everton news, Toffees coaching staff have been blown away by one fringe player at Finch Farm.
