Hugo Ekitike told Everton transfer bid accepted, evaluating offer with agents
Paris Saint-Germain have told Hugo Ekitike that they have accepted an offer for him from Everton, and the player is evaluating their offer according to Sports Zone.
Writing on their official Twitter account (11 August), the French news outlet report that Ekitike was impressing in PSG training but he was removed from the main group after an offer was accepted from the Toffees.
The young forward is now evaluating the offer with his agents and is yet to make a decision, but his future lies away from Paris Saint-Germain this season.
“Hugo Ekitike saw the club tell him that an offer from Everton had arrived and was accepted. It was for this reason that he was dismissed [from the main group],” they wrote.
“Up to Ekitike to decide, his agents evaluate the option with him.
“Hugo Ekitike had even scored points in preparation and training, in particular by often taking the best of Skriniar, Luis Enrique had even congratulated him. However, Paris has been dreaming of parting with it for a long time.”
Tough
It’s going to be tough to convince this young forward to trade Champions League football for a battle at the bottom end of the Premier League, but that’s the task at hand.
Ekitike had a decent season last year, but playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar was always going to be a difficult task, especially for someone in their first season at the club and so young.

But the raw potential he has is clear, and the versatility to play out wide or through the middle explains why Dyche would be a fan, even if he is denying that there has been any contact.
There will be plenty of other clubs in the mix for his signature this summer and it may be that the boss is just managing expectations at this point, but ultimately Ekitike would be a great signing if it can get done.
The offer has been accepted, and now it’s just about convincing the player. Get Dychey on the phone to him and he’ll do the job.
