Leon Osman blown away by Everton defender James Tarkowski v Fulham
Leon Osman was thrilled by James Tarkowski’s aerial prowess in the first half of the Everton v Fulham clash on Saturday, 12 August.
The ex Toffees player was on co-commentary for the Premier League world feed and reacted to Tarkowski’s header in the 32nd minute.
It did not cause Bernd Leno any trouble, but it was a signal of intent from the hosts with a killer ball played from a free kick that could have ended up in the back of the net.

Osman said on 12 August at 15:32, “Great threat from set pieces. Incredible aerial presence. That was a good chance for them.”
Decent defensive display
The Toffees looked extremely organised and threatening on the counter attack – something that most fans would’ve wanted.
Given the lack of investment this summer, it’s more or less the same team bar Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma who’s on the bench.
Alex Iwobi has played on the left flank and has been pretty dangerous for Everton, causing the Fulham defence plenty of problems.

Tarkowski too has looked solid in defence and is the man who’s been targeted by the Fulham players during offensive set plays.
It’s fair to say that the Toffees have been the better side in this game and Sean Dyche will demand more of the same in the second period from them.
The lack of fire power up front is what may cost them as Neal Maupay has also struggled slightly.
In exclusive Everton news, the Toffees now have to pay £21.4m to land a Brazilian player ahead of next season.
