Sunday medical on the cards for Everton to now sign Jack Harrison from Leeds United – Sky Sports
Leeds United winger Jack Harrison could have a medical at Everton on Sunday (13 August) ahead of a loan move to the club, according to Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers.
Reporting via his personal Twitter account on Sunday, the journalist noted that the Toffees are in advanced discussions with the Whites regarding the move.
Myers added, however, that Harrison would not be available to play for his new club for some weeks due to an ongoing injury.
“As per Paul Joyce, Everton in advanced discussions with Leeds over Jack Harrison loan,” Myers posted on Twitter.
“Player could have medical today but not expected to be ready to play due to an ongoing injury.”

Positive news
There hasn’t been much positive news around Goodison Park this summer, with the Toffees not exactly going big in the transfer window after last season’s struggles on the pitch.
Given the financial issues behind the scenes, it was perhaps expected, with only Ashley Young, Arnaut Danjuma and Youssef Chermiti brought in so far.
Free transfer Young and loan signing Danjuma both featured on Saturday (12 August) as the Merseyside club kicked off their new Premier League campaign with a 1-0 loss to Fulham.
It was a massively disappointing result for Sean Dyche and his players, particularly given how the clash took place at Goodison Park in front of many excited Toffees fans.
It’s clear that the final third is an area that the club need to strengthen, and the loan signature of Harrison from Leeds would definitely help fix this issue somewhat.
The 26-year-old attacker has proven his ability in the top flight during his time with the West Yorkshire club over recent years.
In other Everton news, one pundit has slammed the Toffees live on talkSPORT as a “firefighting” transfers verdict is shared.
