Everton to rubber stamp Jack Harrison transfer in next 24 hours
Everton are expecting a deal to bring Leeds United winger Jack Harrison to Goodison Park on loan to be rubber-stamped in the next 24 hours, according to the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper reported [14 August, pg 43] that Harrison has agreed terms with Everton, who were in advanced talks with Leeds overnight, as they will sanction an initial loan move.
However, Harrison does have a hip injury which is expected to keep him out of action for several weeks, so it could still be a while before the winger is an available option for Sean Dyche.

Everton making moves
Everton are making moves in the transfer market following the opening weekend of Premier League football, with just a couple of weeks left until the transfer window closes on 1 September as the squad still needs reinforcements.
Alongside Harrison, his Leeds United teammate Willy Gnonto is also looking to push through a move to Goodison Park [SportItalia, 12 August] as he refused to take part in either of the last two games for his current side.
Dyche has been keen to improve his attacking options at Goodison Park after they only managed 34 goals from 38 Premier League games last season, and that need became even more necessary following the opening-day defeat to Fulham, in which the team missed numerous big chances.
Harrison’s position as a direct winger, and ability to play on both sides, will be a fantastic addition to a squad that lacks depth in wide areas, while he also carries a goal threat with excellent ball-striking ability.

As things stand, Everton have Dwight McNeil and Arnaut Danjuma to choose from out wide, while Dyche was forced to use James Garner and Alex Iwobi in makeshift roles on either side of his midfield against Fulham. If they can get Harrison over the line, it will relieve some pressure.
In other Everton news, the club are likely to sell a first-team ace amid transfer speculation.
