Everton could make two more signings with multiple exits expected – Alan Myers

Alan Myers has shared the latest Everton transfer news as there are likely to be multiple ins and outs at Goodison Park in the closing weeks of the window.

The Sky Sports journalist, taking to his personal Twitter account, provided a response to an Everton fan’s question claiming [14 August] that the Toffees could make two more signings with “3 or 4” possible exits.

Everton completed the signing of Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds United, following the signings of Ashley Young, Arnaut Danjuma and Youssef Chermiti while several Toffees stars have been linked with possible Goodison Park exits.

An Everton fan asked how many more players could Everton look to sign in the closing two weeks of the window, and Myers responded saying: “I think 2 but I don’t know for sure, 3 to 4 may go.”

Everton mean business

After what looked like a tricky summer for the Toffees, with Sean Dyche struggling to add to his squad only a few weeks ago, it is mightily impressive the deals the club have done already.

And Myers’ new update on Everton’s upcoming business provides plenty of encouragement for the near future and Dyche could well possess a much-stocked squad after the transfer window closes.

Everton

The Blues are reportedly pushing to sign Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto and it is believed that the Whites are prepared to lower their £25m demands which allow will Everton to seal yet another impressive attacking addition, while they are also linked with Paris Saint-Germain striker Hugo Ekitike and Leicester striker Patson Daka.

However, Everton will need to balance out their transfers with potential outgoings given the club’s financial position and there are several players linked with moves including Mason Holgate, Amadou Onana, Demarai Gray and even Alex Iwobi who is yet to renew his Toffees contract.

Dyche is certainly set for a busy two weeks of the window but what is for sure, the club have been impressive and rather efficient as they’ve ever been so far which provides fans with a taste of what’s to come under the former Burnley manager’s leadership.

In other Everton, one super-rich club are “eager” to sign Amadou Onana this summer and are willing to offer players in part exchange for the £60m-rated midfielder.
