Manchester United make approach to Amadou Onana as Everton exit mooted
Manchester United have approached Everton midfielder Amadou Onana about a move to Old Trafford this summer, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The Sportitalia journalist reported on his website on 16 August that the Red Devils have been in touch with the Belgian international after The Guardian said on 14 August that they were interested in signing him.
iNews reported on 15 August that due to the inflated market for other midfielders during this transfer window, the Toffees could demand a “premium” transfer fee due to the 21-year-old not looking to force a move out of Goodison Park.

Conflicting
There are many conflicting reports around Onana’s situation, with some reports – including the latest one from Pedulla – claiming that contact has been made with the midfielder.
But the Liverpool Echo reported on 15 August that there hasn’t been an enquiry made by Man United to Everton so far during this transfer window.
That means there is hope that he will still be a Blues player once the window slams shut in a couple of weeks’ time and that would provide a huge boost to the club.

Sean Dyche is keen to keep hold of the Belgian as well as add to his squad as he looks to help the Toffees record a better season than they have over the past couple of years.
It’s so far unknown whether or not the Red Devils will push forward with a move for the midfielder, but as iNews alluded to, the Blues can look to charge a hefty transfer fee if they do decide to ramp up their interest in the player.
In other Everton news, one potential transfer could lead to another player’s exit from Goodison Park this summer.
