Sean Dyche ‘waiting on news’ as Che Adams to Everton update emerges
Everton boss Sean Dyche has shared that he is waiting on news regarding transfers at Goodison Park, although he refused to comment on any deals for individual players including Southampton striker Che Adams.
Dyche has revealed Everton are in for a number of different players, but whether all if any of them come to fruition is still unknown and he is waiting to hear any updates from the club regarding these deals.
Latest reports from The Telegraph [20 August] share that Everton are close to agreeing a £15million fee with Southampton to being Scottish international Adams to Goodison Park in their search for a new striker.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo following a heavy defeat to Aston Villa, Dyche shared: “We are in for a number of situations, whether they can come into fruition, I am waiting on news.
“The first bit of importance is we’ve got to operate with what we’ve got. There’s no magic wand, there never was when I got the job, and there are no shortcuts because shortcuts in football usually cost a lot of money. We are working hard to construct deals that can affect us in a positive way.
These deals at the minute, I am waiting for news – any deals, that is not about Che Adams, that is any deals. We are in for a number of situations, whether they can come into fruition, I am waiting on news.”

Adams the first step of many needed
Dyche and Everton have been targeting a move for a new striker all summer, as they look to fix their goalscoring issues after recording the second-lowest Premier League goal tally last season and failing to score in either of their two games this season.
Adams, meanwhile, has had a flying start to the season in the Championship, scoring three goals in their first three games including two late winners; in the Saints’ opening game against Sheffield Wednesday, and in the 94th minute against Plymouth Argyle.
The Southampton striker would just be the first step towards solving a number of issues at Goodison Park, though. While a new striker is the most obvious and pressing of their issues, they will also need to invest in new wingers.
Alex Iwobi and James Garner have been asked to fill in as makeshift wide men despite their better form playing in the middle, something which certainly hasn’t worked so far.
In other Everton news, one target’s preference has been revealed amid links to the Toffees.
