Everton transfer news as race heats up for PSG striker Hugo Ekitike
Everton are facing stiff competition to secure the services of PSG striker Hugo Ekitike this summer, according to Jacque Talbot.
The Times journalist reported on Tuesday (22 August), which was also broken by Gianluca Di Marzio, that AC Milan want to sign the 21-year-old French striker.
Ekitike only move to PSG last summer, but he’s understood to be among the players to be shown the door this summer.
Move on
The Toffees do need a striker but they cannot see clubs constantly beating them to their desired targets.
They saw it happening with El Bilal Toure as Atalanta seem a more desirable prospect to join.
The same can be said about Milan and if someone is to move from PSG, they’d look to sign for a giant offering him European football.

He would be playing in the Champions League at PSG and would not be open to fighting a relegation battle at Goodison Park.
Che Adams seems like the more likely option and the Toffees need to target players like him and not waste their time.
Hopefully, they manage to bring in someone new before the deadline for their Premier League clash over the weekend.
In other Everton news, a first-team player linked with a Premier League rival club may now force his Goodison Park exit unless Sean Dyche axes a senior man.
